A Learner can complete the Bachelor’s Degree Programme in a minimumperiod of three years and a maximum period of six years.Bachelor’s Preparatory Programme is offered by the University to those students who wish to do Bachelors’ Degree ofNIOSe but do not have the essential qualification of having passed 10 + 2. In the absence of such a qualifying certificatethese students are deprived of higher education. To enable such students to enter higher education stream, NIOSe hasdesigned this preparatory programme.The Bachelors Preparatory Programme (BBP) is on offer in Oriya too in addition to English and Hindi.

Fees ( Five Thousand & One Hundred Eighty Rupees )The Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science Programme comprises nine courses; of these seven coursesdeal with theoretical aspects of this discipline, while two courses are meant to provide practical exercises to thelearners.
