  • Facebook Group – TESC (Reasons)
      • Easy, popular way to get MOST parents.
      • Simple layout – events, wall, notes, photos, videos, links.
      • Allows for communication to both students and staff on events and action plans.
      • Allow for invitation to events – give a rough idea on how many parents may or may not come.
      • Link to interesting articles (ie: email on GoO mandates sent out today) or fundraiser info.
      • Allows for positive branding on facebook.com
  • Google Apps
      • Use of online Google app to run TESC.

      • Could utilize for internal and external conversations.
      • Calendar – booking and planning of events, attendance, etc.
      • Documents – shared agendas, sign up sheets, etc.

The answer is no – the school does… Action Trillium ES TESC Mandate Controlled by school board, (template utilized by all schools) Free to define and commit to an online mandate, to the betterment of the school. Control Controlled by mandate, by the school board. Would be under the direction of TESC and common sense. Collaborative No collaboration available. Easy access to comment and send information by external users. Scalability All additions must be checked with for entry, then added by school staff. Movement would be at TESC discretion, and can scale quickly and easily.
