It was designed by sculptor Erdembileg and architectEnkhjargal and erected in 2008

There is on top of the Genghis Khan Statue Complex, avisitor center, itself 10 meters tall, with 36 columnsrepresenting the 36 khans from Genghis to Ligdan Khan.

Visitors take a lift to the head of the horse,through its chestand neck, where they can have a panoramic view.
