4. First lesson
• We are going to learn how to use the
compass
• Basic skills: north, south, east and west
5. Second lesson
• We are going to know how to use the map
• Separated in two groups
• Each group has the same map and we are
going to do exercises with it. E.g. In which
direction is the mainland? And our classroom?
6. Third lesson
• The teacher hide some things and she give
clues to the pupils
• We are going to do a “gymkhana”
• They have to use the map and the compass
7. Fourth lesson
• Today we are pirates
they are going to dress up
With pirate´s customs
• Each group have to find
their treasure.
8. Evaluation
• He/ She know how to use the compass
• He/ She know how to use the map
• He/ She know basic skills: where is north,
south, east and west
