WORLD’s LARGEST CRANE “TAISUN” Designed and built by Yantai Raffles Shipyard in Yantai, China Total capacity 20,000 ton (Guinness World Record TM ) Height under beam 115 meter (more than soccer field) Span 120 meter (more than soccer field) Front columns 30 stories high Wire length 50 kilometers Total weight 200,000 ton deemed “impossible” by many now in action
  • 2. 14,000 ton deck box lift The same as 10,000 VW Golf cars, equivalent to the total output of the VW factory with nearly 100,000 employees in five days
  • 3. RAISE DECK BOX TO 30 METER Equivalent to raising 10,000 VW Golfs 10 stories high. In order to do this, the crane feeds directly from the power grid of 10,000 Volt
  • 4. move out barge (and take some beautiful photos)
