  4. 4. The transport barge is submerged and the hull is launched in the water
  5. 5. The barge then brings the 7 stories accommodation to under TAISUN
  6. 14. The CASTORONE is the largest pipe lay vessel in the world, 330 m long (stinger and helideck excluded). The vessel is equipped with a Class 3 Dynamic Position System driven by 8 x 8400 kW installed power, a complement of 700+ persons, ice class A0 notation and prepared for both S-lay and J-lay type pipe installation. Owned by Saipem of Italy, she is one of the most sophisticated vessels in existence or under construction in the world today. CASTORONE
