Homework <ul><li>Homework is designed to reinforce what the students are learning each day in class. </li></ul><ul><li>Weekly Homework Packet </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Homework will be sent home every Monday. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>One Math worksheet and one Language Arts worksheet. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Occasionally, a Science or Social Studies paper will come home. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>There will be a schedule attached to the Homework Packet stating when each assignment is due. </li></ul></ul><ul><li>I do not grade homework, however, I do check and keep track to see that it is getting done. </li></ul>
  14. 14. What Color Are You On Today? Flip Cards <ul><li>Rules and Expectations </li></ul><ul><li>Each student begins the day on GREEN </li></ul><ul><li>If a behavior is repeated or another rule is broken, the child is then asked to change their color to YELLOW </li></ul><ul><li>Finally, if the child continues to break a class or school rule, they will be asked to change their color to RED </li></ul><ul><li>Rewards for ending the day on green or yellow . </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Bunny Bucks </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Bunny Bucks will be cashed in at the end of the week for prizes. </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><li>Communication to Parents/Guardians </li></ul><ul><ul><li>A monthly calendar will remain in each student’s take home folder. Each afternoon, Miss Kempski will stamp the color on which they end the day. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>If students end the day on RED , a Bunny Boo Boo will be sent home stating why. </li></ul></ul>

Conferences <ul><li>There is a set date throughout the year for conferences. </li></ul><ul><ul><li>First conferences will be held October 14 th and 15 th </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Miss Kempski will schedule a 15 min. conference with each parent/guardian. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Notices will go home in your child’s folder. </li></ul></ul></ul>
  16. 16. Reminders <ul><li>Please check your child’s Communication folder EVERYDAY! It should be sent back to school each day! </li></ul><ul><li>If you are sending money in for lunch, please make sure you send it in a zip lock bag marked with your child’s name. </li></ul>
