  • 3. Executive Summary Sunco Construction is a General Contracting firm that has had ample experience on staff since it was established. Ned Rhodes and Eugene “Sonny” Perry joined forces to start Sunco Construction as a branch to their specialty ceiling contractor, Perry Acoustics. Sonny is the founder of Perry Acoustics which has grown to become a well known contractor in Indiana. He also founded and built both Perry Scaffolding and Sonny Scaffolds from his patents on indoor scaffolding. Sonny is a veteran of the United States Navy from the end of World War II and the Korean War. Most of Sunco’s business comes from referrals from our satisfied customers. Sunco has over twenty-six years of experience in the industry as a company, but the staff has been in the industry since the 1950’s. Our experience allows us to deliver projects on time, on budget, and above the expectations of our clients. Being a local contractor located in Central Indiana, we believe we can deliver a faster, higher quality project than contractors who are not familiar with the local market, suppliers, and practices. With a LEED Accredited Professional on our team, we strive to complete a project with sustainable design and construction practices. We will engage in practices such as pollutant source control and the use of low VOC products so as to promote a healthy indoor environmental quality at the completion of construction. Sunco believes that the preservation of the environment is crucial to a safe and successful construction project. As a qualified construction firm that has a real passion for clientele satisfaction, Sunco is excited to have the opportunity of working with your organization. There is no substitute for customer satisfaction, which is why we stand behind our commitment to provide quality service and enhance our client’s experience. We establish close personal and business relationships, while remaining flexible and responsive. Sunco’s past performance proves we will be able to handle any range of projects’ size and scope, and achieve the highest customer satisfaction. We look forward to working with you on future projects. 701 East Bridge Street Mooresville, Indiana 46158 (317) 831 -5665 (317) 831-3443

We have a LEED Accredited Professional, Matt Rhodes, who will ensure our projects are of sustainable design as budget permits. Matt will work closely with our Quality Control Manager, Shawn Stewart, to provide the coordination between quality materials and quality craftsmanship. The teaming of Matt and Shawn, being an authoritative entity within our team, will enable Sunco to make decisions pertaining to quality that impacts construction scheduling and/or finances in the best interest of the project and owner. A quality control manager from our team will make at least weekly visits to the job site to guarantee the quality of Sunco’s and the subcontractors’ work. Safety Programs Sunco has had an excellent safety record throughout its history. There have been no recordable incidents within the Sunco payroll within the past five years. Sunco takes safety seriously and follows all federal, state, and local safety regulations on every jobsite. We will be sure to adhere to OSHA standards, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (COE) EM 385-1-1 (Safety Manual), and all other standard safety requirements. Each job site will have a safety manual that is easily accessible to any and all contractors and employees involved with the project. We view the Hazard Communication Plan as a priority in the safety of our subcontractors and employees. “The Right to Know” is extremely crucial to a safe work environment. Corporate Management Sunco believes that if the office personnel are involved with the construction process, the office work will be completed in a timely fashion because they are keyed into the specific project needs.
