  • 1. Internet User Privacy A Mindless Sugar Rush Production By a Anonymous Jerk (Most information from Wikipedia)
  • 2. What is it?
    • Internet privacy consists of privacy over the media of the Internet. It is the ability to control what information one reveals about oneself over the Internet, and to control who can access that information.
  • 3. Cookies (Not the Chocolate Chip kind.)
    • Cookies are tools which are sometimes used for user-tracking. As a result, some types of cookies are classified as a tracking cookie .
    • Cookies reveal what you’ve clicked on, and where you’ve been surfing.
  • 4. Data logging
    • Many programs and operating systems are set up to perform data logging of usage. This may include recording times when the computer is in use, or which web sites are visited.
  • 5. Ethics about this.
    • Some people don’t want to have information on the internet. Simple as that.
    • There is no real way to
    • solve this. The only way is to
    • ask not to have your info
    • shared, such as asking an
    • Authority or admin on a
    • Website to hide your
    • information.
  • 6. Phishing and CCleaner
    • CCleaner is a freeware system optimization, privacy and cleaning tool. It removes unused files from your system - allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space. It also cleans traces of your online activities such as your Internet history. Additionally it contains a fully featured registry cleaner. But the best part is that it's fast (normally taking less than a second to run) and contains NO Spyware or Adware! :)
    • Phishing is the act of redirection to a site with close connections to another. You are able to disable phishing rather easily, or set up fire walls.
    • (E.G. Microsoft office ->Microsoft Office 32)
  • 7. Example of search privacy being revealed.
  • 8. And if you do stuff that you shouldn’t have..
  • 9.
    • To make a long story short, be careful on the net.
