  • 1. This is the Bigar Cascade Falls in CarassSeverin, Romania at the 45th parallel.The dramatic moss-covered falls are situatedin the forests of the Anina Mountains and areformed by an underground water spring thatspills into the Minis River.
  • 2. A group of Rainbow Eucalyptus trees spotted just off theHana Highway in east Maui.Commonly known as the Rainbow Eucalyptus, theMindanao Gum, or the Rainbow Gum, it is the onlyEucalyptus species found naturally in the NorthernHemisphere.The unique multi-hued bark is the most distinctivefeature of the tree. Patches of outer bark are shedannually at different times, showing a bright green innerbark.This then darkens and matures to give blue, purple,orange and then maroon tones.
