  • How To Write A Good Story
    • A story has a Beginning, a Middle and an End.
    • Always read the questions
    • and look out for clues given
    • Look at the pictures for
    • clues.
    • Read the words given.
    • Plan your story.
    • Make sure you know who
    • is the character in the story.
    • - If you are a character, write ‘I’
    • Never write about other
    • characters using ‘I’
    • Find out the correct tense to use.
    • Stick to ‘It was…’or ‘It is …’
    • - It has got to Make Sense.
  • Describe the NOUNS in the story. - Use a lot of adjectives . e.g. a kind man an honest boy a long blue dress an expensive pen
  • Describe the actions to make your story more interesting. e.g. cried sadly went home happily laughed loudly ran quickly
  • Write a Good Ending. - Don’t just stop. - You should plan your ending first.
