    • Privacy SettingsFacebook privacy settings have few levels of access. You can access mostoptions from the top right corner of your screen.
    • Privacy SettingsFirst set up the access to your profile information. Each section has its ownsettings on the right hand side. You can choose to allow everyone (“public”),your friends, only yourself or specified people to see each piece of information.
    • Privacy SettingsPrivacy settings have a custom area where you can define people who will beallowed to see information or people who will be blocked from viewing it.
    • Privacy SettingsWhile editing privacy settings of your profile information you can always viewthe settings. If you hide posts from some of your contacts do check how theycan preview your profile.
    • Privacy SettingsSecond area of Facebook privacy settings is control over the content you are sharing inyour status updates. If you tag your contacts in your status update their name willappear on your status update. With the new privacy settings your contacts can controlthe updates you tag them in, so if they approve the tag, the status will also appear ontheir wall.
    • Privacy SettingsYou can tag your posts with your location, but always consider the safety of allpeople included in your post. Ask them if they want to be tagged with thisparticular location before you post!
    • Privacy SettingsYou can control the target audience and viewership of each of your statusupdates. Here also you will be able to customise it to specific people.
    • Privacy SettingsYou can also go back to your old posts and customise the target audience andviewership of each post created in the past.
    • Privacy SettingsBack in your main privacy settings area you can choose a default access to allyour content and to your past posts.
    • Privacy SettingsYou can decide how others can connect with you on Facebook.
    • Privacy SettingsYou can control how others will tag you on Facebook.
    • Privacy SettingsYou can also control the access of 3rd party applications and companies toyour personal information stored on the network.
    • Final pointsThe new privacy settings give us more control over the content we share andover our own personal information but the safety of yourself and your networkdepends on you – please manage your contacts, all your settings and postresponsibly. For more follow:http://www.facebook.com/fbprivacyhttp://www.facebook.com/fbsafety
