Your data is typically well-protected while it is managed by the SAP server, but how safe is that same information after it is downloaded from SAP? When documents or data exports are downloaded from the SAP server, protecting this information typically relies solely on end-users following manual policies and procedures. Even with the best intentions, it is easy for users to share these documents through email, IM, file servers, SharePoint or even internet sites. As more companies share engineering, manufacturing, and service data more broadly, protecting that SAP data as it moves both within the company and externally with partners, suppliers, and customers is critical to maintaining compliance and protecting intellectual property.

Rights Management allows companies to automatically apply persistent protection to data in SAP so that when it is downloaded, the same access control is enforced on the document copies. In addition to preserving access control, rights management supports additional controls over the usage of data including copy/paste, visual markings, duplication, printing, and audit trail. Using rights management, integrated into SAP applications, companies can extend protections to critical SAP data on the move.

In this webinar, attendees will be introduced to integrated Rights Management, see how it can be applied in SAP applications and understand the benefits for SAP customers.

This webinar is intended for Compliance, Business and IT audiences.
