The 128 QAM modem enables STM-1/OC-3 capacity to be delivered using just 28 MHz of RF bandwidth. Compact and modular FibeAir radios support a variety of interface combinations: OC-3/STM-1, DS3/E3, nxT1/nxE1, 100Base-T. Since the radios are seamlessly integrated in different networking systems and topologies, they present an efficient and financially beneficial alternative to fiber optic lines, when such lines are too costly and take too long to install. In addition, redeployment with FibeAir is a relatively simple procedure, whereas redeploying fiber-based networks is a difficult and sometimes impossible task. FibeAir 1500/1528 - The FibeAir 1500 winning combination includes operating across multiple frequencies from 18 to 38 GHz, delivering data at 155 Mbps, supporting IP, SONET/SDH, and ATM data transfer protocols, providing an additional 2 Mbps port that supports Ethernet (10Base-T) or T1/E1 connection for voice applications, and complying with North American and international standards. Recently, Ceragon added FibeAir 1528 to the FibeAir Family.
