COMPANY OVERVIEW• Privately owned and formed in 1983• Based in Stoke-on-Trent, England• Accredited to ISO 9001/2008.• 50 people employed throughout the company covering:- o Design o Engineering o Fabrication & Installation o Commissioning o Sales• Annual Group Turnover in excess of £10 million.• Global offices in:- o USA, Malaysia, Thailand, China & India.
CAPABILITIES• Flexibility of contract structure, from small scale engineering design to full “turnkey” packages• Complete installation and commissioning service.• After sales service from the UK
CAPABILITIES• Design, consultation and feasibility study.• Research & Development facilities at the Head Office• Independently validated by::-
R-02 DRYING PRINCIPLE• Unlike conventional dryers that use heated air as the drying medium, the R-O2 drying process developed by CDS, uses dry superheated steam at atmospheric pressure.• The process can be adapted for all production rates, with large scale plant capacities being possible as no maximum “scale up” barriers have been identified.
R-02 DRYING TECHNOLOGY• Save up to 50% of drying energy cost.• Reduced drying times in all production process.• Higher heat carrying capacity of ‘dry’ superheated steam used to dry the product.• Lower viscosity enables deeper and faster permeation of the heat into dense products• Batch or continuous drying process• Uniform & accurate temperature / humidity & airflow control on all processes.• Sterile environments.• Extremely efficient thermal systems.• Incredibly low maintenance.
