    • About the client: The client is a global education start up specializing in providing new-age career courses. Through its cloud based platform the client offers career diagnostics using tools impact student outcomes positively. Business Challenge: The offering has two formats: B2B: Students from universities are bulk enrolled and they take the embedded course on the platform and view their grades online after completing the course, B2C: A student can take up an online assessment to become eligible to enroll for the courses he/ she would like to sign-up for by paying and enrolling to the course. The project comprised of three important modules - assessment, intervention and progression besides the admin functionalities and student dashboards. Solution: Neev undertook the end-to-end design and deployment of the version1 of the platform. An evaluation between technology options was done - AngularJS Vs NodeJS or ROR Vs J2EE. The APIs were exposed by interfaces like Canvas and Edvento for enrollment. REST based API and MVC patterns were employed. The payment gateway was ZaakPay. Tokens were stored using the Redis key-value store. The Central authentication service (CAS) protocol was implemented through Ruby CAS client library. A Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) Wrapper was used for rendering S3 content securely. Third party services like Woopra for user analytics were integrated.     • About the Client: The client is a giant in the BPO industry providing ITeS (IT Enabled Services). Their customers include large telecom, financial services, retail, technology and travel companies. Business Challenge: The client had to handle a large volume of calls on a daily basis, many of which were not being analyzed accurately. The management teams of many of their customers wanted details about the calls being handled like the geographical distribution of the callers, demographics and the specific enquiries made during the call. This would enable them to take informed decisions. The App had to be lightweight and designed for iOS, providing for easy and visually pleasing access on the iPad. Solution: A simple and detailed graphical overview of the data logged during the calls is provided. Neev built the entire graphical framework from the ground up, using JavaScript. The application pulls the call data and sends it to the Application Server to translate it into graphs. A custom-built framework developed by Neev ensured that the data logged during the calls was sorted properly. The development, database integration, UI/UX design and testing was done by Neev. As the solution is meant for the iPad, the iOS SDK framework was used for the development and design. Java was used to back up images. Top Features and Challenges: •Score Card presentation with time spent on call, customer satisfaction, issue resolution and discussions on Twitter etc. •Skill-wise breakdown of the metrics on the call and drill down to agent, represented as a pie-chart every month •Integration of the images was a problem.     • About the Client: The client is a self-funded web-based startup launched by two ambitious entrepreneurs in the USA. Business Challenge: The client wanted to build a website and a web-based tool that would allow a user to share content from a particular website with any other user around the world. Their idea of an highlighting tool highlights text on a given webpage. They also wanted to categorize and share this content with other users. The client also wanted to design a toolbar, to which the links could be added and had to work across a number of websites. Solution: The Application was developed entirely on Ruby on Rails (RoR). jQuery was used for implementing the toolbar and highlighting. A heat map was designed to color code the content on a page in red, orange and yellow representing the number of people highlighting a particular content. The search feature where a person could search through highlighted text was designed using the elastic search module in AWS.     • About the Client: The client is a startup in 2013. It aims to serve the Hotels and Restaurants industry by digitizing the process of obtaining feedback from customers. Business Challenge: The client required an on-the-go solution through which restaurant goers could provide instant feedback. The solution had to provide valuable insights to restaurant owners/managers on customer perception of their service/product. The solution was also required to have a light front-end and a scalable back-end. It was required to work on all modern day mobile browsers. Solution: Neev’s on-the-go solution was a HTML5-based hybrid smartphone application. Neev undertook the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) for the application. We automated build deploys. Cucumber scripts were used to automate the testing of the web services. The architecture with JSON and Angular provided a scalable backend. The application consists of a single page web service driven architecture. The application includes an integrated analytics component that helps derive insights from available customer feedback information. Top Features and Challenges: •A complete Angular JS front-end with JQuery mobile. •Web services, Continuous Integration. •Having a single controller for all the 3 sub-applications – a dashboard app, tablet app and mobile app. •Ensuring that the site functioned appropriately on all mobile devices.
