Would you like to learn more about the recent enhancements to the Connexion Client? Version 2.10 of the client was released on December 27, 2007.
With client 2.10, you are able to:
* Set an option to be warned before you export when unlinked non-Latin fields are present in a record
*Select one of multiple headings in a bibliographic field to lock a linked authority record
* Control genre headings in fields tagged 655 second indicator zero
* Display language of cataloging from field 040 subfield b in WorldCat search results lists
* ...and more!
See the Recent Enhancements page on the Connexion web site for additional information - http://www.oclc.org/connexion/interface/client/enhancements/recent.htm
NOTE: This session covers the new enhancements only. Participants should have some previous experience with the Connexion client interface. The OCLC Connexion client is only available to OCLC full-cataloging institutions. ** This workshop is not appropriate for CatExpress users - the Connexion Client interface is not available to CatExpress users. **
Presented by Christa Burns as the NEBASE hour on February 6, 2008.
