  • INTRODUCTIONThere is an international and national imperative to include education technologies into teachers training and professional development, for example implementing and assess learning experiences to engage students and enhance learning and enrich professional practice to improve learner’s education. In this assay I would initial focus and report on being a teacher in the knowledge society , ‘education for all’ goal, and present future national strategic objective and deliberately to the aims of the national and international initiative regarding continuous profession development of teachers with regard to teacher’s competency standards relating ICT and professional aptitude.
  • Knowledge society agendaKnowledge society refers to a human society, in which knowledge could be a dynamism in bringing transformation in a society and where knowledge brings justice, solidarity, democracy, peace and unity the society. Knowledge society implies equitable to information (UNESCO) and should provide universal, where by everyone get equality in accessing that may enhance their knowledge society.
  • Education makes a powerful different to people.it holds the key to unlock the human potential needed to secure a more peaceful and ensure that all children receive quality basic education. Education is also a key issue in the knowledge society. Being a teacher in the knowledge society, it more like enabling all children and all people to access knowledge and benefit from being educator. Being a teacher in the knowledge society requires integrating ICT and knowledge SID in order to build knowledge society and learn to know accessing knowledge.
  • In the knowledge society, every learner is a lifelong learning and ICT is a tool for improving and developing lifelong learning. Where ICT is to be used to create too much access to learning opportunities, redress inequalities, whereby it’s used to improve and develop the equality of learning and teaching. There is also a knowledge society which offers various ways to access knowledge, develop collaborative and collective work in a society. Education in a network society consists of the new knowledge whereby learners learn new skills and improving their way of learning and of doing things in a different

  • Pervasiveness of technologyPervasiveness of technology is intended to provide learners with access to a range of tool that promote learning and provide professional teaching. Pervasiveness Of technology has meant that children live in a society where digital devices are essential to their everyday lives and participation in society. There type of device that is used includes mobile phones and computer .this can improve the range of communication between teachers and learners and improve their learning.
  • ICT can be used as the pervasiveness of technology where is to be used to create greater access to learning opportunities and improve the quality of teaching and learning. ICT ensure a more significant interaction of learning with information and thewhite paper on education views ICT development as a process that takes teachers and learners through learning about ICT and learn through the use of it which provide teachers with support and learning experience and technical support.

  • Education for all goals should ensure all children particularly in different background ,different circumstances and those who belonging to ethnic minorities have access to information and devices and also a compulsory and free education of all good quality with no discrimination but that promote peace, justice and democracy. Ensure that the learning needs of all children or learners met through equitable access to proper learning and life skills programs.
  • “Achieving a 50% improve the level of learning and teaching by 2015, especially for all, particularly woman and equitable access to basic and continuing education for all.”().. And also achieve gender equality in education with the force of ensuring greeter and equally access to and focus on providing textbook for every learner in every subject and achieve the education of good quality.
  • Other goals is to improve all the aspect of learning and teaching to ensure excellence measurable learning and teaching outcomes are achieved by all and develop knowledge and skills. Help to train teachers and built refurbished classroom to be well equipped, be a safe environment for learners and be free from discrimination. Girls and boys should have equal right and same goes to learners living with disabilities. Each class should have well trained and committed teacher with skills and excellence knowledge and the learning material be available to every classroom for all learners

  • Present future national strategic objectiveI have discovered the five strategic goals that have been factored into the programs. The first one is to improve the quality of teaching and learning where the department of education provides learners with access and material that will improve their knowledge and skills. Increase access to high quality learning and teaching to improve learning outcome. Undertake regular assessment to track progress, where teachers provide learners with relevant and essential strategy of learning and even have the teacher’s development to prepare education for the tools of the curriculum and assessment policy statement.
  • With regards to the improvement of quality of teaching and learning, teachers should be well trained to improved the rate of qualified teachers in the school.improve their way of accessing information by implementing the training programs for teachers to be professional teachers.
  • Improve early childhood development, whereby their develop training strategy to ensure universalize access to the childhood and ensure that all children complete a quality readiness programs in GRD R before their pass in formal education and this will help them enhance their way of learning, knowledge and skill. It can cultivate them collaborate with other learners in the classroom and be able to use the safe facilities without any discrimination.
  • Improve in the capacity of the department of basic education. This program ensures that every learner have permission to the education system with the essential knowledge, skills and attribute for enrolment into higher education. Strive to enhance the overall quality of teaching and learning and improve the quality of basic education.   • Teacher’s development program should respond to the requirements of subject as computer technology and information technology so it ensures the great skills and knowledge to the classroom. The ongoing support should be regularly available for every learner and this include the pedagogic support, whereby teachers create communities of practice and collaboration whereby learners work together to access information and other supporting material.
