  • 3. Why am I writing about Edgar?
After I saw Shaun of the dead and hot fuzz I instantly was impressed by the style he shot his movies and how he managed to really emphasis certain pieces of comedy.
Edgar’s way of presenting comedy can be extremely subtle which is a rare quality in a director, this is shown in Shaun of the dead which have subtle references to George Romero's zombie films.

Few people know that Edgar wright is a massive fan of George Romero's zombie films and his movie shaun of the dead is filled with references to Romero’s zombie films. He also made a appearance in George Romero's fourth zombie film Land of the dead
  • 7. His movie making quotes
Everything that I've done so far has had a bigger budget than the last, but I've never ever felt the benefit of the bigger budget because the ideas always exceed the budget.
I think it's good to have pressure on yourself. The worst crime is to get kind of really complacent.
  • 8. Trade mark style
Repeated lines or snippets of dialogue for comedic effect
He is well known for his Fast action style editing, usually of casual tasks, including whip pans and crash zooms
Awkward humour in fast paced moments is well known by Edgar and is shown in many of his movies
