Welcome returning classes ’84, ‘89, ’94, ‘99, ‘04!On behalf of the NCSSM Alumni Assoc Board of Directors, I am pleased to present to you the 2008-09 annual report of the Association

This is our guiding principle as we conduct the business of the Association.

Goals for 2009-10

Starting in Oct 2009Build more awareness

Alumni Challenge Grant: Alumnus offering $75,000 if we reach $125,000Give something $5, $20, $100> alumni participation was about 6% in 07-08 and about 9% in 08-09. Keep in mind that this is excellent progress, particularly when the body of alumni grew by approximately 5%. 2. Give early if you can to help us better reach goal3 Encourage your classmates to give any amount – participation matters

Targeting DC, NYC, LA – areas with high concentration of alumniBoard will help chapter get started and host events

Currently have attendance requirementsStart term in Oct not June

Happy to report 17 + 2board members currently serveFull board meets every other month with committees meeting on in-between months5 committees – most board work occurs within these meetings

Many board members on multiple committees – demonstrates their commitment to the associationTherese – invaluable to us; driving force and motivation for our board – connection to the campusSaumilJarwala ‘10 – engaged SGA president; keeps us connected to current studentsWe invite you to join the leadership team
