BrainBox: My First BrainBox This is a box game published by “The Green Board Game
Company.”
Agenda:
6:00 to 6:30
Refreshments/ Give out Raffle Tickets for books/ posters/ bookmarks/ read bracelets, etc
Play “Brain Box” (A card is held in front of a person for 15 seconds. Then the person is asked questions
such as “What color was the scarf on the snowman? How many trees were in the picture?)
Melody, the main character, had a photographic memory. This game is to help families think about
what having a “photographic memory” would be like.
Booktalk the next month’s book
“Show Cerebral Palsy – What I Want You to Know” Video from Utube. This is to set the tone for doing
the activity box. We do not want to find humor in how hard the activities are…we want to make sure
participants realize this is very real and people deal with it every day all day.

7:05 to 7:25 Discussion: To discuss, there are four roles that participants draw: recorder, cheerleader,
