Do you remember what it’s like not to have a cell phone? If you’ve gotten yourself involved in the an online business, chances are you’re old enough to have grown up in the days when smartphones and tablets were things of science fiction. Just think: Every time most people with smart phones have questions, what do they do? Ask Google, right then and there. This is one reason SEO is not dead: We still search, and optimizing the results of those searches is something that everyone appreciates and benefits from, whether they know it or not.

What do we mean by that? Well, that you can find just about any product you could ever want or need, somewhere, for the price you want to pay. Everyone who uses the Internet frequently knows this, and when they use search engines, they expect for them to return the best results by default. This is another reason SEO is not dead: People still rely on it, and expect it to be active whenever they run a search. At the end of the day, SEO is still one of the most relevant technologies there is, because search engines are amongst the most relevant technologies around. What does this mean for you? A number of things. First, if you decide to start a personal website that hosts a bunch of information or a web-based business or storefront, you
