Budget movie camera uploads straight to your iPod
It might looks like a traditional camcorder, but this is apparently Samsung's entry into
the world of the budget movie camera - the MX20.
We don't yet know how 'budget' this will be, that Schneider-Kreuznach lens is certain
to add a few quid onto the retail price for a start. But when storage is confined to an

SD card (albeit up to 32GB) and recording is in MPEG4 (with not a mention of the
term 'HD' anywhere), you know we're not talking high end.
But there are several redeeming features, not least the option to upload movies
directly to an iPod, as well as YouTube and its ilk. There's also a 2.7-inch screen,
noise reduction and filter technology for smoother, more vivid images, a hefty 34x
zoom, image stabilisation and the usual automated options for the first-time film
maker. Expect it in black, white, red and blue from September.
