Act 1. Biography.
How did Gabriel from a shelter
           become
  well-known Coco Chanel?
 She was born on
                         August 19th, 1883 in
                         France. Her mother
died at a young age, and
                         Gabrielle’s father was
"A girl should be two not able to take care of
things: classy and
                         5 children alone. This is
fabulous."
                         why Gabrielle spent 6
                         years in an orphanage of
                         the Roman
                         Catholic monastery.
The orphanhood
                         and poverty became
                         for Gabriel Chanel
                         first "universities" of
                         her life. She had
                         great gift of the self-
"There are people who educated person.
have money and people The family lived
who are rich." from hand to mouth
                         that is why she had
                         not opportunity to
                         be educated.
"Since everything is in our heads,
we had better not lose them."

Coco Chanel all subsequent life aspired
to forget about the sad childhood,
 composed legends. She fought against
 the past, with that humiliating
existence when in despair shouted to
pupils of a shelter: "I am not an
orphan!" Already then at a poor table
she swore to overcome own poverty and
 haplessness.
"In order to be irreplaceable one
must always be different."

When Gabrielle was 20 years old, she started
working as a cabaret singer. This is where she got
 her nickname, Coco.
It was based on two popular songs with which she
became identified, “Ko Ko Ri Ko” and “Qui qu’a vu
Coco,” The song “Ko Ko Ri Ko” was her favorite.
The soldiers there called her "Coco," and she
 adopted the nickname.
«Great loves too must be endured»

She had many male admirers, and she
became a mistress to many powerful men in
the society. Because of this, Gabrielle was
able to get financial aid and social
connections to start a fashion business in
 1913.
Coco in Mulen with rich officer Balsan went to Paris.
They lived in the castle where she for many years
can play a role of a pity kept woman: her opinion is
 not taken into consideration
Coco Chanel found the second lover - the Englishman,
Boy Keypel. In this time the destiny smiled to her.
Chanel could wake Balsan's jealousy, and in this rivalry
she won to herself means to open a fashionable hat
 shop.
Coco Chanel was a beloved of the grand duke
Dmitry Romanov, however the duke Westminster
became the dearest man to her heart. He belonged
to English royal family and was one of the richest
 people of Great Britain.
Act 2. Career.
From the seller of hats
to world-famous brand
through hardship
to the stars Over the years,
                              Gabrielle has faced
"Success is often achieved by many challenges as a
those who don't know that
                              designer. However,
failure is inevitable."
                              she never gave up and
                              continued following
                              her passion. She took
                              advantage of her social
                              connections and took
                              risks all the time.
"There is no time for cut-and-dried
monotony. There is time for work. And
time for love. That leaves no other time!"
Her trade of hats began very quickly to prosper. Many
French celebrities came to it to shop However for
unruly Coco this business was too narrow, her active
 nature demanded grandiose achievements
By 1919, Coco Chanel was firmly established as
courtiere and a name in the Parisian fashion industry.
