  • 2. Objective
    • The objective of this power point is to tell five dos and don'ts in the workplace and explain how to be ethical and not unethical.
  • 3. 1.Do: Be on time
    • Being on time to your workplace will prove how responsible and caring you are.
    • Being on time will help the job get done easier.
  • 4. 2. Do: Be organized
    • If you are organized, it will benefit you and your workplace. Find papers and get prepared easily.
    • Organization will stop stress.
  • 5. 3. Do: Be patient
    • If you are patient, then your peers will understand you and will be patient with you back.
    • Patience is a virtue.
  • 6. 4. Do: Be Nice
    • If you are nice many peers will like you and it will be easy to work with them and they will give you respect back.
  • 7. 5. Do: Listen
    • If you listen you will be able to learn many interesting things from your peers and people will listen back.
  • 8. 6. Don’t: talk bad
    • You should always avoid talking bad about anyone of your peers, now that you are there to get your work done and not be judging people.
  • 9. 7. Don’t: Sneak and play games
    • When you try to sneak and play games on the internet, the bigger the risk you will get caught.
  • 10. 8. Don’t slack
    • The more you slack while trying to play and sit back the more work will increase, causing stress.
  • 11. 9. Don’t: look up inappropriate things during work.
    • Looking up inappropriate things at work can get you caught and fired on the spot, just wait until you get home and are off work.
  • 12. Don’t: Look up personal things that don’t deal with work.
    • Ex: e-mail, chats, etc. You should avoid this because at the moment the most important thing should be getting the job done.
  • 13. Summary
    • While doing this project I learned things that are ethical and unethical in the workplace, I also learned that in the future I can use this as a reference to guide now that I may not have any experience in my new upcoming job. This project benefited me a lot and I am happy I got it. Now I know what is expected of me in a future job area.
