Introduction Welcome to the Virtual Tour of TUN ABDUL RAZAK Library, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia. The tour will guide you on the overview of the facilities, services and information provided by the library.The Library that was first set up in 1972 under Rural and Industrial Development Authority (RIDA) in Petaling Jaya are now moving towards a world class status, UiTM libraries are fully committed to enhance its quality of services and collections. The library support the teaching, learning and research needs of UiTM community. The collections are housed in nine satellite / faculty libraries located within Klang Valley. They all contain a broad range of resources, with special emphasis on the disciplines taught at the campuses where they are located. PTAR 1 NEXT > MAIN < BACK The library was first set up in 1960 under the Rural and Industrial Development Authority (RIDA) in Petaling Jaya. In 1972 a new main library building was completed in Shah Alam and named Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak 1. To date the library collections totaled more than 700,000 volumes comprising books, pamphlets, conference papers, bibliographies, calendars and other non-print materials in microform format. The library also holds about 5,000 periodical titles currently subscribed or received through request/donations. A number of 55 online databases are subscribed from various journals.
