Simple Laboratories. A new kind of lab.
Hello! We’re Simple Laboratories, a lab that’s taking a fresh approach to the business.
We think the lab process should be transparent, informative and simple. Essentially,
we set out to build a lab we would want to use.
What does this look like? Reports that are easy to read and have useful context.
Providers seeing when and where specimens are in the process. Lab results
helping medical experts make more timely decisions about a patient’s health plan.
And everyone knowing what it’s going to cost them.
We’re improving the lab process and doing what’s right for patients and providers.
Keeping track of what’s happening, real-time
From the initial blood draw to reporting of final results, we’re ensuring that you’re
getting the highest quality service. We’ve built checkpoints throughout our process
to update our providers when a specimen is picked-up, entered, in-process, and
when final results are ready.
Combining lab trends and new technologies
To us, innovation is finding the right mix of technology and the human side
of health care. That means building applications based on patient trends and
new technologies.
Technology helps both patients and providers make better health decisions:
imagine getting a notification when pollen count is high or if vitamin D tests are
becoming more popular. A provider can also see their test ordering patterns
compared to their peers. You can discover new tests or see ones that are being
more widely used as indicators.
We want to create these products so you can make more informed choices.
Taking the mystery out of pricing
At a restaurant, the waiter doesn’t ask you how much you can afford before telling
you what the meal costs. Why should labs be different?
We’ve created The Simple Price structure for every health care provider, every
health care payer and every patient to see. You can rest assure knowing what
the prices will be — no mysteries, no hassles, no surprises.
