Slide 3: What is Proto ? •Proto is a premier event for showcasing emerging technology startups [Product companies, Intellectual Property, Cutting edge companies] across India. •Startups from internet, Web 2.0, Mobile, Enterprise, Ancillary technologies compete for nomination. •Proto happens bi-annually Jan & July

Slide 4: Objective •To create an eco-system for technology entrepreneurship in building product companies and IP •To change the perception that India is a back office country doing services •To provide mindshare and exposure to interesting product companies in India •To showcase products to VCs, angels, media, technologists, and their pilot early adaptors.

Slide 7: How it works •15 -20 Companies will be chosen from 100+ nominations happening every event •The finalization of the nominations are done by industry veterans, VCs, entrepreneurs •Each company will be given 6 minutes on stage to demo the product, talk about business model, revenues, target customers, investment requirement if any •Each company will have a stall to demo their products to take the networking further
