Zigbee based attendance alert system with person detailsby using i-button technologyABSTRACT:The main objective of this project is to develop an embedded system, which isused to verify and authenticate the authorizedThis project is implemented 8051 based At89s52 developed board interfacedwith I-Button, Keypad, buzzer and LCD.The i-Button is a computer chip enclosed in a 16mm thick stainless steel can.Because of this unique and durable container, up-to-date information can travel with aperson or object anywhere they go. The steel i-Button can be mounted virtuallyanywhere because it is rugged enough to withstand harsh environments, indoors oroutdoors. It is small and portable enough to attach to a key fob, ring, watch, or otherpersonal items, and be used daily for applications such as access control to buildings andcomputers, asset management and various data logging tasks.Whenever the authorized person enters into the organization, he has to keephis I-button to the reader which is attached to our microcontroller based embeddedboard. And enters the password through the keypad interfaced. At that moment thereader will checks weather the information of the person is correct or not and then it willdecide whether to give access to that particular person or not. If the information of theperson is correct then he will be permitted inside otherwise he will not permit inside andswitched on the buzzer. If the person given information is correct then allow to inside atthe same time same information can be transmitted to administration through zigbeeprotocol.
