THE APPLICATIONS OF Wi-Fi BASED WIRELESS SENSORNETWORK IN INTERNET OF THINGS AND SMART GRID(ABSTRACT)AIM:The main aim the project is to design “THE APPLICATIONS OF Wi-FiBASED WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORK IN INTERNET OF THINGSAND SMART GRID”.COMPONENTS:S3C2440 (ARM9), Wi-Fi Module, Camera, touch screen.EXISTING METHOD:In the existing system, the conditions inside the surveillance aremonitored by using the sensors. Those sensing data at different locations istransmitted to control room by using commercial platform Zigbee. Zigbee wirelesstechnologies include short range, low band widths and low data speedtransmission to the control room. Since zigbee support low band width rates itcannot transmit videos and photos to the PC. So,we have to enhance the existingsystem.PROPOSED METHOD:The Internet of Things (IoT) and Smart Grid are of great importance inpromoting and guiding development of information technology and economic. Theresearch on WiFi-based WSN and its application has high practical significance tothe development of the Internet of Things and Smart Grid. Based on the currentresearch work of applications in the Internet of Things and the characteristics ofWiFi-based WSN, this paper discusses the application of WiFi-based WSN inInternet of Things, which includes Smart Grid, Smart Agriculture and Intelligentenvironment protection.
