GPS Vehicle Theft Identification and Tracking andControl system(ABSTRACT)AIM:The main aim of the project is to design “GPS Vehicle TheftIdentification and Tracking and Control system”.COMPONENTS:8051, GSM modem, GPS modem, LCD, Mobile.EXISTING METHOD:Initially passive systems were developed to support in tracking andnavigation for location-based applications. For the applications that require realtime location information of the vehicle, these systems cannot be employed,because they store the location information in the internal storage that can only beaccessed when vehicle is available. This is the main disadvantage of the existingmethod.PROPOSED METHOD:The proposing method is aimed to track the vehicles and theftidentification is done. Whenever anybody tries start the car by rotating the key theMEMS sensor gets disturbed and it automatically sends the alert message tomobile including latitude and longitude values of the location of the car beingwww.nanocdac.com www.nsrcnano.com branches: hyderabad nagpur

Then the owner of the owner of the vehicle can stop the engine of the car bysending message to the car then the engine gets stopped automatically. that whichmean to locate the position of the vehicle. The location of the vehicle is indicatedusing GPS (global positioning system) technology. Communication link is madepossible through a GPS receiver. GPS will give the information of parameters likelongitude, latitude and attitude. With this system we can easily identify vehiclethefts.Here the communication takes place between GPS receiver and GPSsatellite. GPS satellite continuously tracks the missing vehicle and the position ofthe vehicle is send to the controller from GPS receiver. Vehicle is associated withLCD display which sends the continuous information about the position of thevehicle to the control unit. And the vehicle position should be send to the GSM.The system uses a compact circuitry built around 8051 microcontrollerPrograms are developed in Embedded C.
