GPS-GSM INTEGRATION FOR ENHANCING PUBLICTRANSPORTATION MANAGEMENT SERVICES(ABSTRACT)AIM:The main aim the project is to design “GPS-GSM INTEGRATION FORENHANCING PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION MANAGEMENT SERVICES”.COMPONENTS:LPC2148 (ARM7)/ 8051, GSM modem, GPS modem, LCD and switches.EXISTING METHOD:People those who are waiting for the buses at the bus stops for cityor private buses will be looking eagerly for the bus they want to get in. They canjust know the time of arrival of the bus on the list available on the board but theycan’t be able to trace the present location and exact time of arrival of the bus.PROPOSED METHOD:This project GPS-GSM INTERGRATION FOR ENHANCEPUBLIC TRANSPORTATION MANAGEMENT SERVICES will be use full tofind out the current location of the bus on a particular route for city buses, privatetravels as well as RTC buses. This project contains two embedded systemmodules one will placed inside the bus and the other will be placed at the busstops. The location of bus can be finding out using GPS and can be sent to busstop using GSM.
