Examination room guide using RFID for the jumblingsystem based ExamsABSTRACT:The main objective of this project is to develop an embedded system, which isused to verify and authenticate the authorized and display the room number.Radio-frequency identification (RFID) is a technology that uses radio waves totransfer data from an electronic tag, called RFID tag or label, attached to an object,through a reader for the purpose of identifying and tracking the object. Some RFID tagscan be read from several meters away and beyond the line of sight of the reader. Theapplication of bulk reading enables an almost-parallel reading of tags.The tags information is stored electronically. The RFID tag includes a small RFtransmitter and receiver. An RFID reader transmits an encoded radio signal tointerrogate the tag. The tag receives the message and responds with its identificationinformation. Many RFID tags do not use a battery. Instead, the tag uses the radio energytransmitted by the reader as its energy source. The RFID system design includes amethod of discriminating several tags that might be within the range of the RFID reader.Whenever the student enters into the Examination center, he has to keep hisRFID TAG to the reader which is attached to our microcontroller based embeddedboard. And enters the password (if necessary, their roll number is password) through thekeypad interfaced. At that moment the reader will checks weather the information of thestudent is correct or not and then it will decide to display the student room number onLCD display. If the information of the student is correct then he will be permitted insideotherwise he will not permit inside and switches on the buzzer. The information of thestudent will be send to the microcontroller through one wire protocol. And theinformation of the access system will be displayed on the LCD which we embedded toour board.This project uses regulated 5v, 750ma power supply. 7805 three terminal voltageregulator is used for voltage regulation.
