DEVELOPMENT OF MULTI-FUNCTIONAL SENSORMODULE FOR ENERGY SAVING AIR CONDITIONERSYSTEMAIM:The main aim of the project is to design “DEVELOPMENT OF MULTI-FUNCTIONAL SENSOR MODULE FOR ENERGY SAVING AIRCONDITIONER SYSTEM”.COMPONENTS:Micro controller (LPC2148/8051), PIR sensor, Temperature sensor,LCD.ABSTRACT:The Multi-functional sensor module for Air Conditioning system is able torecognize and analyze states of human being from information obtained throughPassive IR (PIR) sensor and Temperature sensor.We design Embedded Project to play an essential role for providing safety,security and improve user’s comfort and also reduce overall energy consumptionfor realizing a green world.Our Embedded Project is used to provide the control of air conditioner in a cleanroom because the air conditioners occupy 42% of total energy consumption. Themodule contains two sensors. 1. PIR sensor 2. Temperature sensor.   2. 2. uses temperature sensor to find the room temperature. Here we are keeping limitto the temperature.If any person will come, PIR sensor will detect and at same time temperaturesensor detects the temperature of the room. All this information is given to Microcontroller. The controller processes the information and finds the temperaturelimit. If person will come and the temperature crosses the limit, then only airconditioner will work.
