  • DESIGNATION AND REALIZATION OF SHIPNAVIGATION SYSTEM EMBEDDED PLATFORMBASED ON ARM(ABSTRACT)AIM:The main aim the project is to design “DESIGNATION ANDREALIZATION OF SHIP NAVIGATION SYSTEM EMBEDDEDPLATFORM BASED ON ARM”.COMPONENTS: S3C2440 (ARM9), GPS modem, GSM modem,Touch Screen.EXISTING METHOD:The existing system is designed by using GPS andGSM. By using GPS receiver the position is identified and theidentified data contains only values of latitude and longitude andthe values are sent to the mobile through a message whichcontains values but not the name of the location.PROPOSED METHOD:This paper discussed advantage and disadvantage ofsolution scheme of embedded ship navigation system platform,established a ship navigation embedded terminal platform baseon S3C2440 which has high price performance ratio.
