DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE LAB REMOTEMONITORING SYSTEM BASED ON EMBEDDED WEBTECHNOLOGY(ABSTRACT)AIM:The main aim the project is to design “DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF THELAB REMOTE MONITORING SYSTEM BASED ON EMBEDDED WEBTECHNOLOGY”.COMPONENTS:S3C2440 (ARM9), Webcam, Ethernet, touch screen, PC, temperaturesensor, fire sensor and LDR.EXISTING METHOD:In the existing system the Lab monitoring system is design andcontrolled by using RF technology which can monitor and control the systeminside the lab only in places where network availability is more. They are bitmore costly because cost of components is increased. Not so easy toimplement as you have to take great care of noise, Because of antennas it isbulkier.PROPOSED METHOD:The application of embedded web technology in the remote monitoringsystem has given rise to the technological change in the field of industrialcontrol. So the Laboratory Intelligent Monitoring System should bedeveloped to implement early warning, remote control, real-time Monitoringand other functions.Our designed system comes up with a design solution of an embeddedweb-based remote monitoring system for the environment in thelaboratories, which realizes the local management and remote publishingapplications for large-scale dynamic data of sensor networks and videoimages.ARM Intelligent Monitoring Center uses Samsungs S3C2440 processoras its main controller, the performance and frequency of which are suitablefor real-time video image capture and processing applications. EmbeddedLinux operating system and embedded web server run on the main controllerto manage various types of equipments including sensor networks, USBcameras and so on.
