Authorized home appliances control with one wire protocolbased i-buttonABSTRACT:The main objective of this project is to develop an embedded system, which isused to verify and authenticate the authorizedThis project is implemented 8051 based At89s52 developed board interfacedwith I-Button, Keypad, buzzer and LCD.The i-Button is a computer chip enclosed in a 16mm thick stainless steel can.Because of this unique and durable container, up-to-date information can travel with aperson or object anywhere they go. The steel i-Button can be mounted virtuallyanywhere because it is rugged enough to withstand harsh environments, indoors oroutdoors. It is small and portable enough to attach to a key fob, ring, watch, or otherpersonal items, and be used daily for applications such as access control to buildings andcomputers, asset management and various data logging tasks.Whenever the authorized person enters into the home, he has to keep his I-button to the reader which is attached to our microcontroller based embedded board.And enters the password through the keypad interfaced. At that moment the reader willchecks weather the information of the person is correct or not and then it will decidewhether to give access to that particular person or not. If the information of the person iscorrect then he will be permitted inside otherwise he will not permit inside and switchedon the buzzer. If the person given information is correct then allow to switch on theappliance through keypad. And the information of the access system will be displayedon the LCD which we embedded to our board.This project uses regulated 5v, 750ma power supply. 7805 three terminal voltageregulator is used for voltage regulation.
