This pollutionis one which is causing lot many health diseases. Factories are majorfactors which are polluting water.   2. 2. pollution also increasing and lot many industries are releasing the wastematerials into water and causing health diseases to the people.The present existing method we can find the pollution of water byusing sensors, but we cannot find the exact location of pollution enteringinto the atmosphere and also we cannot find the exact location until thesurrounding area gets polluted.PROPOSED METHOD:The present existing method overcomes the disadvantage of theexisting method by finding the exact location where water is polluted. Ourdesigned project “Application of GPRS technology in water quality monitoringsystem” will more useful for controlling the water pollution caused by industriesby intimating the pollution information to the pollution control room as amessage. Water pollution is detected by using two sensors like PH sensor andwaste gas monitoring sensor. When these sensors detect water pollution thenthey send to controller from controller they send to the control room throughGSM modem connected to 8051 micro controller.www.nanocdac.com www.nsrcnano.com branches: hyderabadnagpur

At control room GSM modem connected to ARM9 board receivesdata and sends to PC through ethernet module.The system uses a compact circuitry built around S3C2440 (ARM9),8051 micro controller Programs are developed in Embedded C.
