  5. 5. Food Habits <ul><li>Humpback whales throw bubbles, so its food swim slowly, so the humpback whales can swallow it and eat it. </li></ul>
  6. 6. Interesting Facts <ul><li>One of the humpback whales interesting facts are: its names. Its scientific name is “Megaptera Novaeangliae. </li></ul><ul><li>Some people call them by their short name: humpbacks. </li></ul><ul><li>The humpback whales are called like that, because they have a humped back. </li></ul>
  7. 7. Why is it Endangered? <ul><li>Habitat loss – some people throw trash in the ocean, and humpbacks eat it, get really sick, then, they die. </li></ul><ul><li>One of the humpback whale’s names is the Sea Monster, because long ago, people killed them thinking they were sea monsters. </li></ul>
  8. 8. What Has Been Done to Help? <ul><li>In the beaches, there are signs that say: “don’t throw trash in the ocean” and some which say: “ don’t kill are animals!” </li></ul>
  9. 9. Conclusion <ul><li>If the humpback whales get extinct, the number of fish, krill, and sea plants will be unbalanced. </li></ul>
