Literacy Day at the Capitol

Moe and Kay stood in front of the church for Literacy Day at the Capitol. Nancy was taking the picture.

They took breakfast in the church.

They listened to a presentation about Literacy Day.

They walked to the Capitol building with some other people.

Someone took a picture of all of them in front of the Capitol.

They went through security.

They talked to Representative Naishtat’s assistant and gave her a letter from the students.

The representative from New Braunfels let Kay hold his gavel.

Then they gave a letter to the assistant for Representative Rodriguez.

Also they gave a letter to the assistant for Representative Howard.

Finally they gave a letter to the assistant for Senator Watson.

They looked at the House of Representatives Chamber.

Last, they looked at the Senate Chamber. They felt happy and tired.
