Red tacton

  1. 1. ByK.N.Namratha
  2. 2. -the emerging high speed network
  3. 3.  Introduction History What RedTacton mean? Why RedTacton? Human Area Network Working Principle Features Applications Intuitive Operations Security Applications Conclusion
  4. 4.  Red Tacton is a new Human Area Networking technology that uses the surface of the human body as a safe, high speed network transmission path. Red Tacton uses the minute electric field emitted on the surface of the human body.
  5. 5.  The concept of intra-bodycommunication was first proposed byIBM in 1996. The IBM technology had twolimitations.  The operating range through the body was limited to a few tens of centimeters.  The top communication speed was only 40 Kbit/s!!
  6. 6. Red : a warm color to emphasis warm and cordial communications.TACTON : TOUCH-ACT-ON Action triggered by Touching
  7. 7.  The short-range wireless communications namely Bluetooth and IR have some problems like packet collision and directionality of beam between the terminals respectively. Human area networks would solve all the problems including throughput reduction, low security, and high net - work setup costs.
  8. 8.  In addition to the WANs (Internet) and LANs, there are applications best served by Human Area Networks (HANs) that connect the last meter Human society is entering an era of ubiquitous computing, where everything is networked
  9. 9. ..a transceiver
  10. 10. working of the REDTACTON device over the surface of our body
  11. 11. TouchBroadband & InteractiveAny media
  12. 12. Communication with just a touch or a step!
  13. 13. Bandwidth does not deteriorate even with duplexoperation & simultaneous access by many users! Duplex communication is possible. The transmission speed does not deteriorate in congested areas.
  14. 14. DIELECTRICS CONDUCTORS
  15. 15. Touch advertising and receiveinformationConnect to various systems viathe metal sheet.
  16. 16. An alarm sounds automaticallyto avoid accidental medicineingestionJust sitting in the seat triggersthe car to load all its presets, justthe way you like
  17. 17. Touch a printer to printInstantaneous private network via personal handshake
  18. 18. User verification and unlockingwith just a touch
  19. 19.  RedTacton does not require the electrode to be in direct contact with the skin. RedTacton transceivers are programmable and we can decide what to share with whom and what devices you communicate with. Transmission speed does not deteriorate even though the number of users increases. Data loss during transfer is less Use of minimum amount of power. Security is more. No problem of hackers . It is very hard to pick up stray electronic signals radiating from the body.
  20. 20.  We conclude that, when we compare Red Tacton with other technology present today it can give a better performance over others And we can say that to connect the network with in short distances Red Tacton is best. In this technology there is no problem of hackers as our body is itself a media.
