  5. 5. In a way, by revealing sources, peop le will feel more comfortable that they know where their news come from. But on the other hand, by keeping their sources secret, the free flow of information will remain in tact and protect anonymous sources
  6. 6. At this moment, there are people who are afraid to come out and say what wrongdoings they have seen.
  7. 7. DOES IT MATTER THAT JOURNALISTS DON’T REVEAL SOURCES? Revealing sources Yes No I don’t care They don't?
  8. 8. The situations vary:

  10. 10. Being able to hide under an alias enables these people to feel safe telling reporters what had happened
  11. 11. Without this “safety blanket,” imagine how many people would be able to walk away without anyone knowing of their crimes
  12. 12. Take this away, and soon no one would want coverage
  13. 13. A single person can change a whole case
