        • Focus is on building research capacity

    • The central question that guides our activities is: “ In what ways can research more effectively contribute to solutions to homelessness in Canada?”
    • 1. Collaboration: Provide opportunities for collaboration among the diversity of groups and researchers involved in homelessness across Canada. 2. Knowledge Mobilization: Make existing research on homelessness more accessible and reduce the geographical, sectoral, and socio-economic divisions that impede knowledge exchange. 3. Public Engagement: ‘Make research matter’ by exploring ways that research can more effectively engage the general public, policy makers and other decision-makers in the homelessness sector.       • Bring best minds together
      • Work in collaboration with other initiatives
      • Policy outputs: reports, briefs, news releases
      • Engagement with all levels of government and the news media.
    • Goal #1 Development of a Pan-Canadian homelessness research agenda.
      • Goal #2
      • Engage in research that:
      • addresses key policy
      • concerns, and
      • b) identifies, evaluates and describes innovative and quality responses to homelessness;
    • Goal #3 Generate a range of research and policy outputs, including policy reports, briefs, parliamentary committee submissions , etc
    • Goal #4 Implement a Knowledge Mobilization Strategy through the development of capacity for dissemination, knowledge exchange, outreach and engagement.
