  • 2. Learning from the past week
    • To continue to fight people’s stereotypes and biases towards marginalized people
    • That technology is not blindly good, but everyone deserves a tool set of mediums of expression and understanding that gives ownership, agency and empowerment
    • To always be critically reflective and open to the potential of ideas and tools
  • 3. Take back to Educational Practice
    • To use pictographs and other visual symbols to nurture and foster transfer of learning in learners
    • To expand program planning utilize text to speech and speech to text technology
    • To research and evaluate technology to find potential tools to address the gifts and abilities of people to express and understand their world they know.
  • 4. Share with Colleagues
    • To see the abilities and contributions of all people; to work to find the tools and mediums for people to express and demonstrate these abilities and contributions
    • To see that there can be technological options to open any person to learning communities and contribute to them
  • 5. Impact beyond the learning space
    • To promote the evaluation and use of potential technologies to assist people in contributing and sharing in all learning spaces
    • To promote the openness for the potential of technology to find a unique set of tools for people to participate and succeed in all learning spaces

    • Text to speech options for learning
    • Use PCS for worksheets and other learning materials
    • Use of speech technology to use Windows, word processors and web browsers
    • To use principles of UDL and DI to address the unique learning abilities of people

    • Potential of PCS in creating learning resources for people
    • Mimeo touch an alternative way to create a interactive white board
    • Use of text to speech and speech technologies to give access to ICT
    • Use of clicker 5 and classroom suite for learning to read and write

    • To further work on the financial literacy course to make it more accessible to all learners
    • To further research for resources on personal finances that promote a sustainable and healthy lifestyle for all learners
    • To further be open and evaluative of potential benefits various technology to give the best outcomes for learners
