  1. Pictures Tashi Gatsal – Flood Victoms – LEDeG field visit on 9.8.2010 Severe cloudburst and torrential rain resulted in flash floods on August 6th 2010 The main stream of the village changed its course causing severe damage to the houses
  2. Mud and silt filled houses causing damage to the whole infrastructure Soon after the disaster villagers were excavating the debris from their houses
  3. On this patch of land houses were completely washed away Homeless families move to temporary shelters with the help of the Army
  4. Main road of the city has been washed away, Ladakh Buddhist Association excavating dead bodies from the debris
