Introduction If you really care and love someone, would you do any harm to him or her? For example, if you have a child who you love, do you harm him or her in any way? Of course you would not, right? As a matter of fact, you would do whatever it takes to make sure your child is well taken care of
  • 3. Taking care of yourself • This goes for loving yourself • If you care and love yourself, then you would not do anything to harm yourself in anyway • This includes physically, mentally, and spiritually, emotionally, or any other way • For example, if you care and love your body, you would not consume junk foods, because you know that those foods will harm your body
  • 4. “You make the world a better place by making yourself a better person.” Scott Sorrell
  • 5. Do not contradict yourself When you give the excuse because junk foods taste good, then that means you care less of your body than the taste of the junk foods When you say you care about your body, but then consume junk foods, then you are contradicting yourself In this case, the question is, how much do you truly love your body? Your actions will determine your answer, not your words
  • 6. Taking care of your mind • Another example would be taking care of your mind • You want to make sure to stay away from anything that could influence your mind in a negative way • For example, you know that negative people will influence your mind in a negative way • In this case, you should take care of yourself and stay away as far as possible from negative people • If you are still around negative people when you know it is not the right thing to do, then it means you want their approval more than taking care of your mind
  • 7. Make yourself feel good • When you take good care of yourself in all areas of your life, then there is nothing negative that will make you feel bad about yourself • For example, when you consume healthy foods, your body will feel good, which means you will feel good • When you are around positive people, they will make you feel good, which means you will feel good about yourself • The more you take care of yourself, the more you will feel good about yourself from the inside and out

  • 9. Action Steps • 1. List down every aspect of your life (body, mind, spirit, emotion, etc.) • 2. On each category, list everything down that you would need to do to take good care of it • 3. For each area, come up with at least two ways on how you can learn and improve it. You want to research not only on how to apply the knowledge, but also the benefits • 4. Keep on learning, adding, and applying until you applied and mastered what you want to accomplish in all of your areas
