We continue to have our new providers focus on clearing the wait list in an effort to accommodate everyone. Once we clear the wait list we will all see overall appointment availability improve as those providers are able to be opened for routine and acute appointments!

This is an information paper developed with the help of Clinical Operations. This is not an all-inclusive list and IACH is not promoting one agency over another, we simply called those we were aware of and compiled the information, I hope it is helpful for your folks if they need it.

Thanks for all you do for the Fort Riley community!

    • School and Sports Physicals! This year IACH will have limited ability to accommodate school and sports physicals due to furlough and budget constraints. We are doing all we can to accommodate all requests, but these hints may help! 1) School Physicals are only required once, upon entry to the Kansas School System. -If you use school physicals as a yearly physical for your healthy child, you may consider waiting until the school year has started so those that need a physical in order to start school can get in. -if you need a school physical and cannot get in here at IACH, school physicals are a TRICARE covered benefit and can be done at any facility that accepts TRICARE. Be advised some of these facilities may involve co-pay. 2) Sports Physicals are only needed if your child or teen will be participating in sports with your school district or with Child Youth Services. -Sports physicals are NOT a TRICARE-covered benefit but can be obtained for a minimal fee in the local community. ------------------------ The following are just some options available through agencies in the community: Konza Prairie Community Health Clinic 361 Grant Ave, Junction City 238-4711 - Sports physicals - $20 - School physical - will bill TRICARE - Must bring forms and shot records Geary County Health Department 1212 W Ash, Junction City 762-5788 - All physicals - $20. They do not bill insurance. They must pay cash or debit card - Immunizations that need to be done will be sent back to IACH, appointments can be made for immunizations at 239-DOCS. Junction City Youth Clinic 1038 W. 6th, Junction City 762-5022 - All physicals - $20. They do not bill insurance. They must pay cash or debit card - Immunizations that need to be done will be sent back to IACH, appointments can be made for immunizations at 239-DOCS. Riley County Health Department 2030 Tecumseh Rd, Manhattan, KS 776-4779 - Will do preschool, daycare and new into the school district - bills TRICARE - No sports physicals
