Store Director’s Scoop Your commissary is “Halloween headquarters” for candy, party food and pumpkins. We are so very pleased to be able to reopen for our world’s best customers and trust you are just as excited to have YOUR COMMISSARY back. We are back to regular operating hours. In November we will close early at 5 PM on the 11th in observance of Veteran’s Day. Also we will be closed all day on Thanksgiving Day. We would also like to apologize for the cancellation of the NASCAR simulator that was to be here on 6 October, but with the store being closed, it was best to reschedule. We hope the rescheduled event will fit your schedule as we will tie in some special buys for the event. Keep watching your commissary website, local Ft Riley information for the exact time and date. In coordination with the B.O.S.S., your commissary is hosting the 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat event in our parking lot. Grab your young ones and have them safely walk the trunks of many of our finest single soldiers who are decorating their truck or cars for spooky design and handing out candy. Please drive carefully during this event scheduled for 31 October 2013 beginning at 5:30 PM. Your Exchange will also be having trick-or-treating in their mall area. For your convenience, there is a family restroom located near the North entrance of the commissary close to the regular restrooms.
