  6. 6. Attendance• If tardy, get pass from attendance.• Absences  Each absence has a one-day grace period IF absence is excused.• Assignments  Check the online assignment calendar for the assignments.
  7. 7. Grading• Grades are based on the accumulation of points. Our Grading Scale• Points are based on: • 90-100% =A  Labs & classwork • 80-89% =B • 75-79% =C (60%) • 60-74% =D  Exams/quizzes • Below 60% =F (30%)  9 Weeks Exam (10%)• Grades are posted online and usually updated every Tuesday.

  11. 11. Using Internet communication tools such as chat rooms, e-mail, and instant messaging can put you at potential risk of encountering online predators. Online predators try to gradually seduce their targets through attention, affection, kindness, and even gifts, and often devote considerable time, money, and energy to this effort. External chat rooms are prohibited.
