  • 2. What is social media? Social media are websites and applications that enable users to create and share content or to participate in social networking. Social media also consists of the social interaction among people in which they create, share or exchange information and ideas in virtual communities and networks.
  • 3. Why Use Social Media in the Classroom? The use of social media in the classroom is becoming increasingly more popular because of the development of new technology. Technology isn’t just changing in the classroom. It is also changing in our everyday lives. Many of the tools we use for recreation are being adapted so that they can also be used to support collaborative endeavors in the classroom.
